Welcome to uPic, UCC's online digital image management service.
uPic gives wide access to a range of free, high quality photographic images, via an easy-to-use, searchable database. uPic offers comprehensive metadata (captions and keywords) and the legal right to use the images within UCC.
uPic is an ongoing project managed by The Office of Media and Communications. New material is added to the site every day, so the variety of images is constantly growing.
The UCC Collection is a catalogue of images which are available to all staff in UCC. It comprises a wide selection of stock images featuring: UCC campus, buildings and environment, the student experience and academic/staff life. Jpegs from this collection can be downloaded directly to your computer and are suitable for illustrating websites and PowerPoint presentations. Print-quality versions of the collection are available on request. For further information contact upic@ucc.ie
The UCC Collection is available free to all staff with a UCC computer. External users, e.g. graphic designers, may also access the site, but will need a password to do so. To apply for a password contact upic@ucc.ie. (Please note - Only external users will need to apply for a password. UCC users can simply click on the links to the left to access the different collections.)
Do you have a design project? The UCC Collection represents only a small part of what uPic has to offer. uPic contains hundreds of images, so if you can't find exactly what you are looking for, please contact the Office of Media and Communications for further suggestions and bespoke galleries to choose from.
